Submission Guidelines Print E-mail

Magnifier Publications exists to publish manuscripts of like-minded Baptist authors. 

Before submitting your manuscript for publication, we request that you first email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   with a simple email query letter.  

In your initial email query, please provide the following:

  • Your name, address and email address.
  • Agreement to our Statement of Faith. 
  • A brief synopsis of your work.
  • Its length.
  • Your qualifications for writing this work.
  • The market and audience for it.
  • Other books you know written on the subject.
  • Your ability to promote the work if published. We expect our authors to actively promote their works at book signings, on the radio, television and other unique events.

If you receive an email back from us indicating we would like to give your work a read, we ask that you follow these guidelines:

You may email a copy of your manuscript to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   (in either PDF, Microsoft Word, or Text formats), Include a cover letter describing our email correspondence and our acceptance of your submission; or, Mail it in a US Priority pouch mailer (not a box) if possible. Put your name and the title of the work on the outside of the mailer. Include a SASE with postage affixed if you wish the work returned to you should that be necessary. Note: Do not use metered mail that is good only on the date of purchase. We will not return your manuscript to you if there is not sufficient and good postage included. Double-space the manuscript, and print on one side of the page only. Do not bind the manuscript. Put your last name and a key word from the title top left, and page numbers from one to the end top right. Always include its synopsis. Always include your email address with your cover letter.
